CHANGE Coaching Model, Session 2 of the 10 Sessions Series on Coaching Models and Methods. In this episode, CHANGE Coaching Model, coach Tosi Mphandle unpacks the model, highlighting its pros and cons. She explains the transformation nature of the model and the fact that it is multi-dimensional. She concludes by stating that for the coach to be effective in the application of the model, the client (employee) must be empowered. It is not about the ticking of the box. You should want the client to succeed and yours, as a coach, is to support them. The model was created by Allison Everest (Expatriate Coaching, United Kingdom). According to Allison, the CHANGE Coaching Model is designed to guide the client through the whole coaching process. It emphasizes the process of moving the client forward, away from existing patterns of Behaviour, strategies and perspectives which may have been hindering development, and into new, fully aligned and supported ways of achieving their goals.
